To achieve this goal, we have established an integrated management system which incorporates ISO 9001:2015. In doing so, Remote Water Treatment Services commits to the following:

  • Establishing and reviewing measurable quality objectives via management review, and recording them in our current Objective and Targets Register;
  • Continually improving the integrated management system via management review, internal audits, and corrective and preventative action reporting;
  • Communicating this policy throughout the organisation to ensure it is understood; and
  • Reviewing this policy at management reviews to ensure it remains up to date.

Occupational Health & Safety

 

Our priority at RWTS is ensuring that the safety and health of our employees, contractors, clients and visitors takes precedence in our everyday operations to achieve an injury-free work environment. We are dedicated to preventing work-related injury, ensuring compliance with workplace legislation and client requirements, and creating a safe, healthy and positive workplace. Our OHS policy is in accordance with ISO 4801 to ensure we protect the welfare, health and safety of all patrons.

We are committed to implementing continual improvement strategies and allocating resources in our endeavour to minimise risk in our workplace.


OBJECTIVES

We commit to achieving the following:

  • Establishing and reviewing measurable quality objectives via management review, and recording them in our current Objective and Targets Register;
  • Continually improving the integrated management system via management review, internal audits, and corrective and preventative action reporting;
  • Communicating this policy throughout the organisation to ensure it is understood; and
  • Reviewing this policy at management reviews to ensure it remains up to date.
  • Providing and maintaining healthy and safe workplaces, safe plants and systems of work;
  • Providing written procedures and instructions to ensure safe work practices
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, current industry standards, and other applicable requirements
  • Providing such information, instruction, training and supervision to employees, contractors and customers as is necessary to ensure their continued health and safety; and
  • Providing support and assistance to employees and involving them in consultation on OHS issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Remote Water Treatment Services recognise that the overall responsibility to provide a safe workplace rests with management, who will be accountable for the implementation of this policy. These responsibilities include the following:

  • Ensuring that all OHS policies and procedures are implemented, maintained, communicated to employees and available to interested parties;
  • Establishing specific measurable objectives and targets to ensure continued improvement aimed at the elimination of work-related injuries and illnesses (which are based on our objectives stated above, and recorded in our current Objectives and Targets Register);
  • Identifying hazards which may affect the health and safety of our employees, others, or the environment; and
  • Providing adequate resources to meet these OHS commitments.

Remote Water Treatment Services is committed to managing its operations in an environmentally sustainable and responsible way. We take a proactive and resourceful approach to water treatment and recognise our responsibility in adopting environmentally sustainable practices. Our nationwide staff policy is in accordance with ISO 14001 and complies with all environmental laws, regulations and reporting requirements. Our progressive policy for waste disposal ensures resources are used sustainably and waste is disposed of responsibly.

We recognise that the nature of our work has the potential to impact the environment and aim to minimise this impact by integrating environmental considerations across all aspects of our business.


OBJECTIVES

We are committed to continual environmental improvement and prevention of pollution. We will work with our clients, suppliers and the community in order to achieve the following:

  • Establishing and reviewing measurable quality objectives via management review, and recording them in our current Objective and Targets Register;
  • Continually improving the integrated management system via management review, internal audits, and corrective and preventative action reporting;
  • Communicating this policy throughout the organisation to ensure it is understood; and
  • Reviewing this policy at management reviews to ensure it remains up to date.
  • Encouraging our employees to report safety and environmental hazards immediately;
  • Reducing waste through innovative work and recycling practices;
  • Minimising environmental impacts by reduction of polluting substances produced; and
  • Identifying specific environmental risks that could occur as part of a project and taking action to minimise this risk.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Remote Water Treatment Services recognises the responsibility to environmental sustainability safe workplace rests with management, who will be accountable for the implementation, maintenance and communication of this policy to our workers and the public.

These responsibilities include:

  • Where hazards are identified and/or reported and if proper rectification is beyond the control of the company, a referral will be made to the appropriate body;
  • Material safety data sheets will be provided for all equipment with potentially hazardous substances; and
  • Provide adequate resources to meet these environmental commitments.
